Dozens of protesters blocked the entrance fo the Louvre museum in Paris to denounce the government’s plans to overhaul the pension system. The museum said the Leonardo Da Vinci exhibit, marking the 500th anniversary of the Italian master’s death, was also closed as a result. Facing the criticism and remarks of the stranded visitors, one protester said their anger is justified but it should be directed instead at the government. Weeks of strikes and protests have hobbled public transportation and disrupted schools, hospitals, as well as opera houses and the Eiffle tower.
