French cosmetics giant L'oreal said it would remove worlds like 'whitening' from its skin care products.

프랑스 화장품 업체인 로레알은 자사의 스킨케어 제품에서 '미백'과 같은 단어를 없애겠다고 발표했습니다.

In a statement, the company said it would also delete words like 'fair' and 'light' from all its products designed to even skin tone.

The decision follows a similar move by the Anglo-Dutch firm Unilever.

President Donald Trump announced it will end the process of ending special trade benefits given to Hong Kong, because of Beijing's moves to assert control over the city.

도날드 트럼프 미대통령은 홍콩에 대한 통제권을 행사하는 중국의 최근 조치 때문에 미국은 홍콩에게 수여된 틀별 무역 혜택을 끝내는 조치를 시작할 것 이라고 발표했습니다.

The president also said Washington will sanction Chinese officials responsible for eroding Hong Kong's autonomy.

대통령은 또한 미국은 홍콩 자치권을 약화시키는데 책임이 있는 중국 관계자들에게 제재를 가할 것 이라고 말했습니다.

Earlier this week, China moved to extend full control over the former British territory.

주 초에, 중국은 전 영국 영토에 대한 전면 통제권 행사를 결정했습니다.

That prompted U.S. Secretary of Senate Mike Pompeo said that Hong Kong can no longer be considered autonomous from mainland China and is therefore no longer deserving of the preferential trade and commercial status it enjoyed from the U.S. since 1997.

Uber laid off another 3,000 employees in May, less than two weeks after it cut 3,700 jobs, and said it would eliminate 1 billion US dollars in costs this year.

When college student return to school in fall, life on compus will look and feel very different.

For example, big lectures will be a thing of the past, and coronavirus testing may be mandatory.
